Twitter Inc. said they are testing a new feature that allows users to tweet with their voice. This feature can capture 140 seconds of audio in a tweet.
Twitter, in their blog post, said that Currently, voice Tweets feature would be available to a limited group of people on Twitter for Apple’s iOS platform. In the coming weeks, everyone on the iOS platform should be able to Tweet with their voice.
The users can create voice tweets using the new “wavelengths” icon on the Tweet Composer screen. Once the user reaches the time limit for a Tweet, an original voice Tweet starts automatically to create a new thread, said the blog post. There’s a lot that can be left unsaid or uninterpreted using text, so we hope voice Tweeting will create a more human experience for listeners and storytellers alike, said the micro-blogging site’s blog post.
