If there is a crack in the display of your Apple Watch, you should check if it’s worth fixing for free. The Apple Watch has introduced a screen replacement program for Series 2 and Series 3 devices, acknowledging that it could crack the edges of the smartwatch.
The tech giant has made sure this happens in “very rare circumstances”. Even so, Series 2 and 3 will replace broken screens for aluminum devices, including Nike + models sold within a limited time period.
You can check Apple’s support documentation for more details on eligible devices, but in a nutshell, the company will fix these models for free: Watch Series 2 Nike + Series 2, Watch Series 3, October 2016 to October 2017 and GPS + Cellular September 2017 to September Up to 2019, the Series 3 watch will be sold by Nike + GPS Between October 2017 and September 2019 sold rrum GPS + Cellular.
You can arrange for mailing on your device by contacting Apple Support or by visiting an Apple authorized service provider or retail store. Keep in mind that whatever method you choose, your device will be sent to the Apple Repair Center because the company must verify that it is eligible for the program.
