If there is a crack in your Apple Watch’s display, you should check if it is worth the free repair. Apple has introduced a screen replacement program for the Watch Series 2 and Series 3 devices, acknowledging that a crack in the edges of the smartwatch may result.
The tech giant has made sure that this happens in “very rare circumstances.” Even so, it will replace broken screens free of charge for Series 2 and 3 aluminium devices, including Nike + models sold within a limited time period.
You can check Apple’s support document for more details on eligible devices, but in a nutshell, the company will fix these models for free: Watch Series 2 Nike + Series 2, Watch Series 3, Sold From October 2016 to October 2017 and GPS + Cellular September 2017 to September Sold at par, until 2019, the Series 3 Watch Nike + GPS and GPS + Cellular sold until October 2017 and September 2019.
You can arrange for mailing on your device by contacting Apple Support or visiting an Apple authorized service provider or retail store. Remember that your device will be sent to the Apple Repair Center for whatever method you choose because the company must verify that it is eligible for the program.
