The solutions developed by Avtex have enabled enterprises to transform, enhance and optimize their business processes. One such example is the challenge faced by Ardent Mills.

Ardent Mills opened in May of 2014, combining the operations of ConAgra Mills and Horizon Milling, a Cargill-CHS joint venture. As a brand new business, they had no IT structure in place and no IT assets to begin with. They needed something that could be up and running immediately with the ability to easily adds users as necessary. They were also faced with the potentially difficult task of bringing two distinct operations together in a seamless fashion.

Solution
Looking to get their new company up and running as quickly as possible, Ardent Mills enlisted Avtex to deploy Microsoft Office 365 which included Exchange Online, Lync Online, SharePoint Online, and Voice-Integrated Conferencing.

Ardent Mills is dedicated to unrivaled technical support, customer service and the supply assurance of a coast-to-coast network of 40 community mills. With a strong focus in customer experience, Avtex completely aligned with their message and determined a roadmap for getting them set up in the Cloud immediately. And so that Ardent Mills could focus on the day-to-day tasks and operations, Avtex manages their levels 1, 2 and 3 support, from Help Desk to Architect level.

Benefits
Ardent Mills was up and running at full function on their first day, with all IT structures in place including e-mail. Since they combined two different operations, they had employees located all over. But with the high availability in Office 365, they were able to have e-mail across all locations globally.

Cost was another major advantage. By moving all of their IT to the Cloud, Ardent Mills knows exactly what they are spending, as each user costs a fixed amount.
And by having Avtex manage their levels 1, 2 and 3 support, Ardent Mills completely eliminates any time-consuming administrative tasks.

Building on their past successes, Avtex has the goal to continue their growth trajectory nationally;the organization has recently expanded into the Pacific Northwest, Canada and Chicago marketplaces. To facilitate the goal of growth, Avtex will be developing their own IP to help their clients maximize their Microsoft investments. A prime example of an Avtex created IP is InteractionSync™, which integrates a client’s Dynamics CRM platform with their Contact Center platform, providing a 360-degree customer view, intelligent routing and profile delivery. Interaction Sync recently won Product of the Year by TMC’s CUSTOMER magazine.

Demou believes that Avtex customers are most excited about the company’s ability to offer assistance geared towards migrating applications to the cloud with Office 365 and Azure. Additionally, customers seem excited about Avtex’s ability to provide their own solutions to augment the transition to the cloud. Without Avtex created IP such as SilverLining ground-to-cloud consulting services and Hosted LyncVoice for Office 365, clients would be left facing a difficult challenge of integrating and maximizing platforms and solutions.

Demou is also jazzed about the new wave of SharePoint and the added intelligence with managing and collaborating big data content, and leveraging new SQL power BI tools to drive granular customer intelligence.
